Policies

Before reserving your session, please take a moment to review the policies listed below. These are in place to ensure transparency and mutual respect. I want you to feel fully informed and confident in what to expect—nothing here should come as a surprise later on. By booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

PAYMENT

  1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date and time.

  2. Remaining balances are due either the day before or day of the session (your choice).

  3. Accepted payment methods: Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or cash.

  4. Sessions are not considered booked until the deposit is received and confirmed by Monique.

CANCELLATIONS
&
RESCHEDULING

  1. Refunds are not permitted once your deposit is sent. However, I understand that unexpected changes happen. If you need to cancel your session:
    One week or more in advance: Your full deposit will be credited toward a future rescheduled session.
    Three days in advance: Half of your deposit can be used as credit for a future session.

  2. Day of cancellation or no-show: Unfortunately, your deposit will be forfeited and no credit will be given.

SESSION DETAILS

  1. Your session will begin and end at the agreed-upon time. Please arrive on time to make the most of your session.

  2. Turnaround time varies by session type, but you will always be given a clear timeline before your shoot.

TRAVEL

Distance is measured from Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego.

  1. 0–5 miles — $10 Flat Fee

  2. 5–12 miles — $15 Flat Fee

  3. 12–15 miles — $25 Flat Fee

  4. 15–30 miles — $50 Flat Fee

DISCOUNTS

  1. Clients who allow Monique Chavez to use images from their session for her portfolio, website, and marketing materials will receive 10% off the total session cost.
    (does not apply  to restaurant or commercial projects.)
